Welp, I just missed morning, so I’ll say good afternoon. Happy new year, everyone- I’m late to the party on that, too! All healed up from the cataract surgeries and finally done with the dang drops… now I’m trying to adjust to new glasses with progressive lenses. It’s been a couple of weeks; will give it some more time. Mid 30s with intermittent rain and snow and big winds today. So glad tomorrow’s big storm won’t hit this far east, but I’m already feeling sorry for Buffalo and wondering how they can even think about going ahead with that game. Yikes.

Update:
Aha, the game is rescheduled to Monday. Thank goodness! Go Bills!

I told my boss three companies were after me and I needed a raise to stay at my job. We haggled for a few minutes, and he gave me a 5% raise.

Leaving his office, he stopped and asked me, "By the way, which companies are after you?" I responded, "The gas, electric, and cable company."

Grab a bowl of Fruit Loops and a glass of Tang. Have a great day kids.. don't forget to chew your Flintstones!

I loved your humor today Doug and look for your post for a chuckle everyday. Sun shinning here in Las Vegas with a high of 52 deg. after a low of 30 deg. at my house. Not many nights down to freezing and not often do we get snow here in the valley. My location being one of the lowest in elevation and a little hotter in the summer too. I've recorded 120 deg. several summers recently. Global warming?? Summer heat just around the corner. Hurrah!!

Way to go girl. I just had lense replacement also. The eye drops r a necessity and really make recovery smooth.

I usually don't get in on the good nights but I got back to the phone earlier this evening. Here in my corner of the world some have been under the covers all day with our high being -7. I know I have said it before but this is crazy cold even for us.
So cuddle up under a stack of blankets and I will hope for more than 2 hours of sleep.
