Ours for my region is quite narrow, I guess to allow only the Stripers from a couple of really good years & to protect the others. I'm not complaining, these management tools have worked in the past ( I think ), to restore our fish populations when they were nearly gone.

No we didn't weight them, but one was 42" and the inherent one 38".

Thanks! Yeah right now it's a small slot, 1 fish per day between 28-31 inches. That is egge time from January 1st

Yup I caught this 48 pounder several years ago just off the coast of Virginia Beach trolling with big swim bait. Find the Menhaden and you’ll find the stripers.
