Snowed last night here for 20 minutes. It’s been snowing all night about 500’ higher. It’s a 20 minute drive when it’s not snowing but snow is coming possibly Tuesday but for sure Thursday-weekend.

Raining there now, Sunday morning? That means all these dark clouds are bringing rain and now more snow. Too bad, the snow is pretty and it keeps everything quiet for a little while. Just now shovels are starting across the street.

Well the rain has stopped here, but last week we had 3 to 5 inches, last night 2 plus next week the forecast has 3 to 5 on Tuesday. I figure that's about 6 months worth to Wulffy

Did the same back when I lived in NJ. Cut split and stacked 10 cord a year. Spent most every weekend cutting all winter. I was fortunate to have a neighbor with a big oak Woodlore on his farm. Told me to cut all the dead fall I wanted

Wow, that's great.
We had to get a permit and go up on the mountain to cut our wood.
LOTS of drive time and work to get it to our place.
Mostly lodgepole pine and red fir.
SO glad I don't have to do that anymore. 😊👍

When I first built my house, we couldn't hook up to the gas line because there was a moratorium on new hookups. Didn't want an oil furnace, so they put a forced air electric heater in. When my first electric bill came in it was more than my monthly mortgage and property taxes combined. Had a wood furnace built by a welder friend and cut the duct into the house system. It was ten years of cut , split and stack until the high efficiency gas units came out and I could hook up to gas.

Man that is surely cold, at our cabin on Wednesday it is going to get down to 7 degrees. I’m planning on staying home that day. Tell me what do you recommend that I do to keep my toes warm. I’m 65 and I’m having trouble with that even at low 30 s. I’m wearing wool socks and insulated boots and it’s still not enough

I have that problem as well. I got me some electric socks. They put out plenty of heat for me. Hand warmers are another option. They make toe warmers also but I don't care for them.

Even here in central California it's very cold! For me and the Mrs anyway! It got down in the 30a last nite. To make matters worse, the convection blower on my Pellet Pro stove died last nite! So I am now waiting for a replacement blower from Amazon, supposed to be here by Wednesday I hope. We do have central heat that runs on natural gas anyway, but we are paying high prices for NG here in california.

Was 19* last night. It's 10:30 pm and it's already 16*. By mornin it might be single digit. It's suppose to be tomorrow night for sure.
Also suppose to snow up to a foot or so tomorrow and the wee hours Sunday. 🙁👎😔🙏

Hey saw1
Is this weather forecast for your location of Windsor N. Carolina?
I looked up the current stats. Unless I did something incorrectly it shows 57 degrees with light rain.
Please post your zip code so I can do a complete diagnostic on the weather.
