Fishing the lake across the street on New Years morning. Water is in the low 40's so I'm using small minnows under a float.

Journey, Welcome to the Stage. We're a diverse bunch here, and have for the most part been able to accept each other's opinions and differences, so it's not too hard to fit in. Lots of other Jersey fisherpeople here, so there are plenty of opportunities to share tips, spots, and tackle info, etc.

I'm not too far west of you as t g e crow flies, and my brothers just a bit north on Atco. Are there any places to launch a boat on those lakes, I've been trying to get my brother into fresh water. Most we fish the surf at LBI.

Good going Chuck. Happy New Year to ya.
I’m born and raised in z Jersey too, and have caught some of everything available there in last lotta years. I get to FL once in a while (now I’m south central VA, right at NC border).
I hope can find you snd get some advice about places in FL. I’ve caught few fresh and saltwater fish there, but usually going about it kinda blind and wishing knew more about where/when.
