My son and I took a hike up MT. Manadnock at Jaffrey N H on New Year’s Eve. I would like to share these pictures with all of you . It wasn’t too easy a hike but we got it done in 5 and a half hours

Looks like a great trip. Fairly difficult, but the scenery was well worth it.
Thanks for sharing.
Happy New Year, Bill and family.

Hilly Awesome comes to mind but that looks more like a Mountain than a hill.

LOL. I do what I can because I am able. It’s a challenge I’m 67 and my son is a great companion, Thanks Saw. These mountains are are beautiful. And so quiet in the winter snow. Some parts look harder then they are . Happy new year to you

Hahaha , how about hillbilly. 😂there’s snow on higher elevations further North in N H this one is more southern . Light snow cover and thin ice which made it to watch every step . We put on micro spikes about more half way up. Interestiing is mt manadnock is the 2nd most climbed my. In the world. My. Fuji is no .1 take care Jeremy.

Congrats! Your knees are better than mine are. Nice view! Had some out west that would come close to that.
Looking out from the top of the Mogollon Rim over the scrub desert below. Another was looking out after going up to the top out for Carr Peak also in Arizona. Both were around 3000 feet straight up so you could see for miles.

Sounds nice. Ya my knees were sore after that one, many rocks. Other hikes I did early last year had packed snow which makes it smooth walking.
