So I caught this little guy last night around 9:30 p.m. on a Ned rig with a black and blue crawl. I was only there about 30 minutes but also managed to lose a rig of course. That place is a lure trap. That's the reason why I only use Hooks and Plastics. I seen a couple of other guys fishing for catfish and it looked like they did very well. I was only there for about 30 minutes but my main point is the fish are biting here at Pioneer Park. Good luck

Nice one Sno. Not bad for a 30 minute outing.

I'm guessing very few people fish for bass there since the state only stocks catfish and trout. Great hidden location right in the center of town!
Actually i think youd be surprised on how many bass fisherfish there & @ hero park down the road a bit. I caught bass out of both but the issue isnr the amount of bass in the ponds , its damn how they plummed all the piping for the fountains and water circulation.. They installed it in the open pond so if you throw any lure other then top water you're bound to lose it. Bet. I only fish Texas rigs. Or Ned rigs & top water but very little.
Where is this pond located
