A friend and I were reminiscing about some old Saturday morning TV shows.
The conversation started because he was singing the theme song to The Bannana Splits, and I joined in.

Weren’t the ‘The Banana Splits’ popular back in the 1800’s?
You know, I grew up on a farm and during the school year my dad had a rule that every Saturday morning we (me and my brother) had to work until lunch (that started when we were young). In the summer that rule applied most Saturday mornings (depended on how much we did during the week) and if we weren’t working on Saturdays we were most likely camping or fishing.
So, I don’t think I can name one Saturday show, much less hum the tune. But, if you didn’t have to build a fence or plant corn l guess it was good entertainment.

I was too busy running around in the SE Asia jungles. Also, that time frame reflects on your age.

Congratulations Bc you are awesome to remember the Bannana Splits as well as their names.
Bingo was my favorite and I don't recall Snorky ever saying a single word.
It appears that you also remember the theme song.
You've earned yourself a Bannana Split. Enjoy!
