First cast or last, any time you catch makes it a good day. And I too would try trolling cranks, especially off points.

I’m with you in getting skunked
on Fellows most of the time.
I trolled that Carolina rig by the land bridge, casted the crank also.
Nothing.

Seriously, I missed nearly all of last season with a bad knee. Just stored the Tracker for the year. Overall, I've done best with a Texas rigged purple worm.

I’ll fish than next time out.
I had a knee replacement in May,
I was back on the water in 4 months.
Maybe consider that surgery?

Am in Springfield with my bride as she gets doctored, and every time I read your stories about Fellows, I wish I knew where it is! Someday, I'm gonna look it up, but won't fish cause all my worms are back home. I cannot count how many "last cast" fish I've caught, especially this year. It helps keep us from feelin skunked. Great picture, too!
