My Mom used to give each of us kids a fruitcake each year at Christmas, which I think we all enjoyed. Several years ago, I wanted to continue her tradition, so I ordered mine from Claxton, as illustrated in picture. it wasn't the same company, and I don't know where she got them from. Claxton's weren't as good as the ones she gave us each year.

Try Amazon Larry, they are the same that I would get from the grocery store that sells out around here.

Not in my house. But it might take until June to finish it. No they don't get stalker moldy.

Never had one long enough around the house to find out Jer. It is like anything chocolate. No self control what so ever.

I understand that. I guess I just never had a good one. They have seemed to arrive hard as a brick. I’m not willing to get one when there are so many choices, and yes, chocolate is one of them. 😉

I guess like anything else you could slice off a piece with a chainsaw ( if required ) and microwave it.

Neighbor gave us some home made really thick bread in density and I just made some French toast with it. Ended up we both have a piece left over it was that filling. So going to nuke that some morning to see if that is possible.
