First, always check to make sure the ice is safe.
Next , find the area you wanna fish and then cut a few holes.
Try to fish with some of the same things you catch them on during the summer/fall.

I love Ice Fishing. I'm from Utah but live in Idaho now. I wish you were closer to me because now that I'm 70 I just don't like to go alone anymore. I do have a lifetime Utah license and get down there once in a while. But most of my Utah friends come up here for Ice Fishing.
