I'm curious. Have any of you ever tried catfishing with raw chicken skins, and how did it work out?

I never have. Used them for catching crabs 🦀 though

My buddy uses them for cats and stripers. Dusts them with strawberry Kool Aid til they're red.
I've never tried it -- I like my cracklings too much.

Chicken skin cracklins sounds delicious.
How do you fix them?
Last time I made cracklins my son was visiting a friend two blocks away. He called our house and said " your fixing cracklins aren't you? Let me know when they are done and we'll be over.

It works. Used it on drop lines on the Kankakee River, and for catfish in sand mine pits here in Merrillville and in Port Clinton, Ohio. Sometimes season the skin with garlic powder and koolade.
