I told my wife the other day that I feel like I made it over the hill and went down the other side really quick, but going up this next hill is being the real challenge for me.

You are not alone here FC. Plenty of folks are on that slope too. Myself included but forward we must press on.
Going up hill we use the trees to help us reach the top.
On the downside we bump into them to slow down.
No wonder we're so broken up by the time we reach the valley of the

Funny you say that Butch. We used to sleigh ride down the back ally's when we lived in the city. Everyone had a chain link fence and we would bounce off of them especially at the turns to get direction.
Boy talk about a memory of a good time

Another survey says: Kids today don't know how easy they have it. When I was young, I had to walk 9 feet through shag carpet to change the TV channel.
Here of late it seems Senility has been a smooth transition for me. So says my kids survey.
Do you all remember back when we were kids and every time it was below freezing outside they closed school? Yeah, me neither.
There is a benefit to getting older so just remember, once you're over the hill, you begin to pick up speed.
Having plans sounds like a good idea until you have to put on clothes and leave the house. ( Oh I can so relate )
It's weird being the same age as old people.
When I was a kid I wanted to be older . . this is not what I expected. ( Especially when it comes to the cuts and bruises )

Have you ever toured Pa Amish country?
They have alot of the Pennsylvania Dutch stuff.
Crazy town names Bird in Hand /Blue Balls/ Intercourse yest that's some of the names.
All kinds of shops n markets. Interesting tour.
Chylo came from Gap Pa.
My two daughters each have a dog from Amish country. The pups are pretty well socialized because they're raised in the family house not in a kennel.

Bob the elementary school has a long hill behind it.
As far back as I can remember it was open the sledding.
A few yrs after moving here two girls sledding n the hit the jungle gym .
One of the girls broke her neck n died.
That ended sledding they.
A very sleep hill close to my paps house wound be blocked off for sledding. That was a fun ride.
It's nice to relax n reminisce sometimes brother. βΊοΈ
