Santa Ana River Lakes, Anaheim CA.
Good evening, early this morning I came to fish here. It's a place known for huge trout and cats . It was a relaxing day , I had a few bites using squid and shrimp for cats and power bait for trout. Watching nature basically gave me the comfort I was looking for. There are three lakes here including an enclosed pond for the kids . It's actually fun and on weekends there's camping . As for the port-a-potties well they really need tending too or updated , just bring your sanitizers I would say. Lots of brush but today it was getting taken care of, overall it was a great day though skunked 🎣✌️🦨
Crane
Lucky charm dragon fly
My view for the day

Looks like a beautiful day to be on the water anyway Ricoe. Sorry that the Dragonfly didn't deliver the good luck, but it's still better than sitting on the couch. Thanks for the pictures.

yup sure beats the couch , I recently became permanent disabled so I have to find something to do if not my day goes wrong 🎣
I use to fish there when I live down South.
Try Pudding Stone like good catfishing fishing, and Trout and Bass fishing.
Use to fish it alot.
And they also have fishing docks you can fish off.

that's right , I forgot about that lake, I use to jetski there in my younger days , I went yesterday early morning before going to the river lakes to Yorba regional park , lake had so much moss and ducks that I left without casting. Thanks for the heads up , going to check it out 😁
We lived across the street from the park for year's before moving to North Central California.
Fished it all the time , caught alot of nice Bass in those small lakes largest largest 7lbs and caught a few 5lbers.
And some nice catfish.
And when they planed Trout.
But I heard they put Chemitcals in the 3 ponds and hurt the fish.
Also try Tri City park, off Kamar in Placentia.
Good Catfish fish and areas for handy cap.
Also caught Bass and Trout when they planned.
Largest Bass 5 lbs.
Largest Cat 3 lbs.
Good luck
And LAGUNA lake in Fullerton also called Bassen Cherry 🍒 and there is a handicaps dock.
Fished it since I was 12yrs old.
Grew up in Whitter off Hyw 39 and Imperial .
Good luck.
Also Fished the Peirs and all the way to LAGUNA.
Have a Happy Thanksgiving

Thanks again for the heads up, I parked one day at tri city just to look at it , it's cool letting me know about the handicap info, I appreciate it , recently was found permanent disabled due to a back injury so now I go fish but limited in some areas , would love to climb , hop or even climb to get to a great fishing spot but now I have to plan it out . I read up on Laguna lake, sounds promising, I have tried Laguna niguel but just caught blue Gill . Miss the jetties , so many memories with my pop's , going to have to take notes on these lakes 😁 raised in Santa Ana , mile square park was popping back in the days but now there's so many ducks , geese, etc etc , scared to slip in 🤣
