After working on firewood all afternoon long,
My back was a hurtin, my arms weren't strong.
Two hours til dark, no wind was a blowin,
So I told my bride, "I hurt but I'm goin"
Such perfect conditions, was hardly a sound,
Cept a dork on a jetski out runnin around.
The water's still warm here, now 63,
They arta hit topwater, sounds right to me.
The pictures will show you a beautiful scene,
My muscles stopped hurting, y'all know what I mean.
Found some Kentuckys on worms I was throwin,
I'm glad I felt good enough just to be goin.

It's good to see some beautiful scenery and a good catch. I can almost hear that buzz bait skimming across that still water.
