Bodega bay crabbing 11/5- PB- 8”

Went out for the second day of the season and tried the same spot, we used 6 traps and caught 15 in 1 hour. My buddy was feeling seasick as it was rougher than the day before with big swells.
We caught a lot in the 7 1/2 range again and a personal best 8”.I had to measure it a few times as I Couldn’t believe it.

This years crabs are bigger than previous years so far, lots of Jumbo’s.

While washing my boat a guy pulled up next to us with 2 bluefin tuna he caught 30 miles offshore, I added photo as the were nice fish.

That sure looks like fun, I envy you guys that live by the ocean, lots of different things to caught . Your neighbor is watching you

Another good day for you KK, congrats on you PB! I’m headed out on Wednesday when the swells lay down a bit.
