This brings back memories. Doing that was one of my first jobs when I started working in the machine shop at 17. I evolved into a toolmaker and throughout my 20 years in the trade sometimes had to go back and sandblast my own parts after heat treating, before finish grinding them.
Sandblasting was fun and it killed time.
