Ok, I read the CNN article.
Did you?
It's about how other news agencies are in the fog.
yes and the first example was cnn. I think you miss my point I'm not defending any news org. I just said cnn reported it and drew false conclusions first report in their rush to be first they got it wrong and had to correct it, fox reported it but did not at first state who was responceable until later now sometimes they have rushed to be first and gotten it wrong but not this time my point being often the common man has a more accurate understanding than the news agencies who have a political bias

but did they get it wrong before they got it right
Your talking about FOX here, correct?
Can't be CNN--See above regarding their very first article/report released on the day of the bombing.
IMHO
i got no allegiance to any of them. epecially fox; they went to crap after they got rid of roger ales. theres so much rapid or even instantaneous info available yet they still get the stories wrong
or are they reporting what they HOPE is happening
fake news or unreliable news?

Here's what FOX News has to say about the reliability of their content...
"...any reasonable viewer arrive[s] with an appropriate amount of skepticism' about the statement made" (direct quote from the transcript of the Dominion lawsuit that they loy)
Read this as, "anybody with half a brain wouldn't believe the lies we're telling"
Unfortunately most FOX viewers are below the 50% threshold.

back in the days of real and hard journalism reporters would beat the streets and even travel the world to get that first big SCOOP. they were fiercely competative for it, these days they mostly look 'on line' and ck what everybody else is sayin
more good times in the rear view mirror
anybody listen to clay travis and buck sexton on the radio?
definitely lean rite but i think they approach breaking stories with a lot of caution and skepticism
they were on the money when the video of the hospital bombing finally came out

For many of the entertainment companies that pass themselves off as news agencies, that is definitely true.
For example, here's how how FOX explained away their fact-checking responsibility...
"FNN asserts that the reasonable viewer would understand that FNN is merely fulfilling its journalistic duty to the 'present' newsworthy allegations made by others." They then go on to argue (to disjointed to quote) that it doesn't matter if it's true or false.
Sure makes it easy to understand why so many people fall for lies and conspiracy theories -- they think that they're actually getting fact-based news.
However, there's still some reputable news agencies out there. They're the ones that list reliable sources in the articles and have fact checking departments.

actually a bunch of grumpy ol fishermen I bet have a better accuracy than a lot of news sources have been such as CNN and NBC in particular. most recently who got the Gaza hospital bombing right from the get go I think fox from ste start reported it correct while CNN and NBC accepted the hamas report that it was Isreal and I bet most of the ol grumpy fisherman from the very beginning doubted the story because common since was Isreal does not bomb hospitals and hamas does and their rockets are very unreliable so on the face of it, the initial report that Isreal did it was very questionable
actually a bunch of grumpy ol fishermen I bet have... (

DC, how about these guys?

I should just plain stay out of this but, even though I realize that world events affect our nation we as individuals can do little or nothing in the face of what goes on. We argue amongst ourselves about which news reports to believe and what really happened and foment angst and anger among ourselves which serves no good purpose.

" Anger among ourselves which serves no good purpose ", well it does get the old heart pumping.

Speaking as someone who has personally been in combat with combatants of their mentality, human life means nothing to them. They are animals, and in recent interrogations of some, they stated such. Civilians and hostages will be used as human shields with no questions. Hard to wrap your mind around such brutality as being ok, but that’s the way they were raised. I listen to Fox News.
