Do you see the name of our boat? It's "The Therapy Room" and we go there as often as possible.

Indeed. Nothing better than being on the water and trying to convince the fish to bite.
Even if the little stinkers aren’t biting, still good to be out in nature. We have eagles, falcons and hawks here.. and turkey vultures.. always something to watch, beside that bobber just sitting there!

How do you do it BreAna? The night before it's the anticipation, running through the check list in my mind, where's my first spot, what time should I leave and the list goes on and on.

A good night of sleep before fishing, RARE.

I'm not a big trout fisherman, but when I do need therapy, I go for places like I just found today. Secluded private spots with just a couple of deep pools. Sunken back into the wilderness where only a few know they are there.

Places like that are hard to find but when I do I just stand there and soak it in. Just you and nature. Love it.

ABSOLUTELY!! Casting a line into small deep holes in a creek like this makes me feel like a little kid on Christmas Eve. Just dreaming of what's going to appear!! 🐟 🐠 🎣

That looks so inviting Doug, similar to my little hideaway spot in the background too.

Posing is my 1st freshwater trout ever, another followed 2 weeks later.

That he was and when I got home found out he was even legal. I think by now he made his way to someone else's frying pan. Nice fight for a creek fishing, Andy C put me on to getting a 5' ugly stick for creek fishing. That was even more fun on the 2nd catch.
