That’s the one! If you like IPA but want a break from the heavy beer it’s the go to.

The water that I'll be fishin over around Brentwood is too BIG for a bass boat.
Can get 3+ foot whitecaps but they are 25 feet or so apart.
My boat handled 3 foot whitecaps when they were only 18 feet apart or so on the smaller lakes because I could go WOT across the tops of the waves. However, when they get too far apart my boat wouldn't bridge across them and you have to go slow and go down in the trough and then go over the next wave. That's a good way to have your bass boat submarine the next wave/whitecap.
I need a Deep V boat to handle the bigger water over there.
You have the Sacramento and San Joaquin rivers that run through there and when you get the wind and tide pushin against the river current the water stands up in a hurry.

Noyo harbor ft Bragg. It's an outdoor diner on the river. Walk up window, everything is deep fried. The shrimp are big enough to eat with a knife and fork. There may also be a dog under every table. Drive all the way down, on the left couple doors past princess Seafood. At Bodega Bay my favorite is the boathouse. Best fish&chips anywhere.
I usually end up at the Noyo fish Co. pretty funny, I grew up in Mendocino and up there every month and never been to that place. I’ll definitely try it next time I’m up there. Crab season opens in a few weeks so I’ll be there. Is the boathouse on the south side of the marina? By the ice house?

Had the opportunity to get out and fish today. On the water and lines in by 9. Started at red rock with a fleet. Way too many boats for me so we went south to find our own water. Morning started off with a bang, three in the box and figured it would be an early day. Not to be, that would be the only three fish we caught. Enjoyed the blue angels and other fly overs as we fished. Cleaning fish at 7 tonight and was smart enough to take out trout from last week to brine. Trout is headed for the Traeger tomorrow morning!!
