Psychologists could not be further from the truth. Our generation went to school with guns in our gun racks. Our generation learned to respect guns. Our generation, for the most part, are not shooting anyone. It is the time-out generation doing most of that.
Watch out you are going to throw this in the attic, already got in trouble for saying something in other post.

Ranger I remember all the westerns.
We had to theaters in town.
Sat matinee at both 25 cents.
One showed cartoons n a family flick.
The other all Western movies.
I do remember my senior year a shooting in town.
Jealous boyfriend tried to kill his ex girlfriend.
Hit her in the elbow.
Lost lower part of her arm.
Nobody could believe it then.
Now it's every day somewhere 🤔

We had three theaters in my town. 15c at that time. Remember Ma and Pa Kettle movies? We didn’t have a lot of extra money, but mom always tried to let us see them when on.

I remember going to the 1 theater in town twice before I graduated high school. Can't recall the names of the movies.

Just walk down the street and collect bottles, then turn them in..
I remember the Saturday morning movies. 10 cents. Carried a grocery paper bag of homemade popcorn to eat while watching the movies. Movies were 50 cents on base when I went into the USAF.

Beagle or Basset Hound?
Those ears belong to a Basset Hound. We used to have bottle cap movies on Saturday morning. Three bottle caps from Pepsi product soft drinks got you in to see a Jerry Lewis movie and a western. Laurel and Hardy and the Three Stooges were big too. Good times
