🥳 Happy New Year 🎊..,
New Years Wish for a Big Fish to all!
Well the 2019 fishing season has ended. Luckily the new season starts today.
HAPPY NEW YEAR FOLKS!
Thanks Gordon. Beautiful video. Happy new year to you and yours and everyone.
HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL !!!
THANK YOU GORDON AND HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU AND YOURS.
Happy New Year to all ! Now we all get to spend some money with the state...new fishing license, salmon/steelhead tag, 2-rod permit, Clean Boat Tag, boat registration renewal (I have three boats that are registered) and, of course, don't forget the county park permit (keeps you from having to pay $4 each time you head to the river or one of the other waterways with regulated parking area). Only have one small(length=$$)boat to renew this year (2yr cycle) so, by my estimation... the state will ONLY get about....$250-275 from me for 2020 ! Aaah, the joys (and obligations) of the New Year !

I have to pay taxes each year . But the boat ramps in Charleston County are free to the public. When I turned 64 I got a life time license for fresh water, salt water and hunting for $9.00. I know everyone on this site is not a senior citizen but does your state do the same for seniors?
I love it here. Got rid of my boat when I went seriously back to surf fishing. One state park pass covers all state parks and all my licenses are free if over 65. Park pass is 60 bucks a year including driving on the beach. Jersey where I do most of my surf fishing has a free (so far) salt water register y.

Here in Utah both the fishing license and state parks pass are good for a year from date of purchase. So I’ll get to pay $35 for the parks pass in March and $38 in October for my fishing/hunting combo license. Unfortunately, my favorite lake isn’t a state park, so it’s $9 a trip or $108 for the season, which is end of May to end of October. Ice fishing, early spring and late fall it’s free, weird but fortunate.
