I have a 600A Multiplier I would part with for $35. It has upgraded Penn drag washers that are better than originals and would hold a salmon or large Striper

I went on eBay and looked at a Mitchell multiplier. That does not look like anything I would want to lug around in the surf. What if I went down? Looking for something way smaller than that, but thanks for the information.

I would not suggest one to begin with I would recommend a newer saltwater spinning reel.

I have a salt water spinning reel. Looking for a salt water bait caster that won't break the bank.

For an excellent salt water level-wind, I have had very good results with reels from the Abu-Garcia series. As others have stated, a fresh water rinse after using is a must.
