Help choose baitcaister combo!

I have already made a post similar to this but I feel I didn’t put as much info as I should’ve. I’m looking for a good, quality baitcaister reel and rod. This should be able to fish for redfish, speckled trout, flounder, bass, and other game fish. This should also have to work in saltwater and fresh. The combo should be around $150. Highest would be $200 or (this is really pushing it) $250. Thanks

I've was looking at the Penn Fathom because you can get it without the level wind. That reel is $150 give or take. And the only combo I've been able to find is bassproshop and it's over $300.

That's a trolling setup. You will have a lot of trouble trying to cast that. don't make that mistake.

Go to ether the bait shops or the biggest Walmart's in the area and you will find a much better selection of equipment just don't buy the REAL cheap junk they have for the tourists. If they have someone there that can help you with advice that would be a big plus.

Boat type reels for deep drops off shore and trolling. Baitcaster reel for casting out lighter lures and baits for inshore use or freshwater. I use an old Abu Garcia Big Game wide reel (gold finish) for near shore and bait catching nearshore. So many new ones out there, just be sure saltwater version!

Stay away from the Lews American Hero combo. The reel doesn't always release right when you go to cast. There are others if you read the reviews having the same problem.
