Help storing soft plastics

Dear anglers,

Today i went to the fishing store and picked up some soft plastics. Here in the Netherlands we dont have a bag around the baits, they just lie out in the open in big containers.

Now my question is, what is the best way to store them?? For convenience i think sort each bait out and put them in a ziplock bag since that is the next best thing to the original packaging (the bags some anglers get in the USA)

Please let me know your thoughts

You can get a soft bait binder, I like these because I get a smaller one and just clip in the baits I plan on using that day

Your best bet is to get a craft/jewelry box from an arts or dollar store (the kind with removable dividers) and use that.

Don't forget to keep them out of direct sunlight.

Soft bait binder is the way to go. You just put them into the binder bag pockets and then can flip through easily. You can get them on amazon for around $15.00.

Are you talking long time storage or short term which is just until you need them while you are fishing?

Short term some good ideas above. Long term zip lock is in my opinion your best bet.

I second the craft box with the dividers and separate the colors do not mix the colors and store.

I just leave them in the sealed up bag they come in and keep them in a cool room.

Keep colors separated especially red , red tends to bleed.
