I retired from Pinellas County and was concerned when I first seen the coyote pair. Tried to get permission to hunt them and was just shot down twice. Now a huge pack even on the beach`s after shore birds too? Seen couple dump cats in a park and called it in, don`t worry the lady said, will be gone in the morning? Coyotes to the rescue.

Cougars are a world wide issue, for those hunting happy trips.

No way in Kansas. Wholesome Dorothy would leave town with her house before that would happen.

Live in the city limits have seen several on my 2 acres.

Son saw one on his last night also in the city limits.

Easy prey for them.

Sand gnats and mosquitoes eat us alive. The little things that drive us nuts not gators.

With you on the skeeters. Was mid 40's two weeks ago when I was last out at 6am. Skeeters tore me up until the sun broke the horizon. Next morning spray myself down and it just lingered for hours. Day three put up with skeeters for an hour.

Cougars
The wife swears she saw a bobcat in the back yard.

Deer and turkeys often.

Some claim mix a little lemon juice and water in a spray bottle and use it.
Limes might work too.
