Some I made and fished this summer and fall i made them out of cedar and they are about a little over 6” long I caught fish on the black back and the grey back nothing on the blue I put a aluminum lip in them I think it gives it some added flash. I also made some about 1/2 that size they worked to.

Nice looking stuff. I've made many lures out of fence cedar and they work well. Yours look better than mine. I made a large flatfish once that demonstrated I could go beyond my talent.

What does the hook wire rig look like before it is in the lures.

They do look good.

They are 1-1/2” stainless steel screws.062 dia

I made these poppers for salt water for the surf but I didn’t catch anything on them I make poppers for hybrid stripe and they work great

NICE ... I Make plug lures also. What I do is use plexiglass. Put 2 pieces together with a wire leader in the middle. Than shaped I may add lead shot on the underside . Than paint it with nail polish.
