What does everyone using a sit on kayak wear when fishing in the cooler weather, especially to stay dry. This is in the Northeast!
I'm guessing you'd have to wear a dry suit if you want to keep dry. I don't go out when it's that cold because I don't have one and I always get my ass wet when I take my kayak out.

Trade the sit in for a sit on top. Even better weather fishing is more enjoyable. If not, almost need a wet suit bottom and just proper top covering.
Be cautious wear something to stay dry. Remember hypothermia!

Hey Bill, got my first inflatable this year. How long is that cannister good for? West Marine says replace yearly.
I don't know. I was planning on getting one for my Christmas gift to myself. We need to find out because that could get expensive. Let me know if you find out anything and I will do the same.

Unlike the other two systems, the CO2 cylinder is positioned inside of the bladder. Once used, or every five years, the complete inflator and CO2 cylinder must be replaced to rearm it
