Where's the limes my friend. You know I am just joking you. LOL

Nice harvest there, make a great side dish out of that with some flounder.

No joke pb. Last bucket. My poor lime tree must have had 1000 babies. But I have just this one bucket to squeeze and I'm done. There are no shoshitos. The majority of those are Havasu peppers. Mildly hot. Mad hatters, not hot at all. And three little red chipotles (which are red jalapeƱos). JalapeƱos are. psychotic, you never know if it's gonna be a bell pepper or a ghost. I also have a plant with Trinidad scorpion peppers which are not ripe yet. Didn't produce all summer then about a month ago it decided it would get some peppers. They are dangerous.

OZ my daddy was from Alabama and he loved those things, but I've never cared for them. I love tomatoes, but I mostly like them raw. Never had much of a taste for those fried ones. I know people do love em. You can have my share.

Yes. I even like it boiled. With butter on it. Slime and all. Fried is best. The way I cook it it is not healthy. I chop up and fry a pound of bacon then fry the okra in the bacon grease, drain it, add the cooked bacon back to the okra. Oh my.

Your harvest picture came to mind this morning as I was fixing a batch of hash browns. Darn I would have liked to have just a handful of those vegies to toss in. So Mc Cormick and I shook it up a little.

Thank God I didn't have any limes. Might have been tempted. LOL

I make a pico de Gallo ( a kind of salsa) with tomatoes, peppers, onions and lime juice. It's great on eggs.

My wife fixes me scrambled eggs in the morning with hot peppers cut up real fine with mushrooms, cheeses and garlic. She fixes this a different way each morning. It shore is good since I have not gotten my new teeth yet. I like smashed taters and gravy too. Gotta have the peppers added. I guess when I croak, the mortician will not have to use the embalming fluid.
