I want to try the Z-man finesse TRD Ned rig baits but they make 20 colors. Can any of you recommend 2 colors to get. Thanks.

Just get neutral like their green pumpkin or Drew’s etc! Try their hulas also! I catch a lot of bass and I use zman almost exclusively!

Thank you. I have been reading and hearing so much about the Ned rig and it seems Z man baits are the ones to use. But so many choices.

When you find the bass and they are hungry. colors don't matter that much!

Good Morning ak, have you tried the Z man curly tail with the slit in it for adding scent? Had some luck with them here on trout and striper but it has been sporadic. If so what colors have you tried?

No bass in Alaska! After 32 years there I’m now living in the Austin TX area! I still spend much of summer in AK chasing salmon trout and halibut! I still consider it my home!

I haven’t tried them yet! So much tackle and so little time!

I find green pumpkin or Canada craw works best. At night black/blue. California craw is not bad either. Develop a good technique for your turd worm. I like a slack line with a slight twitch every 5 seconds. I find when you tease/annoy the bass. This helps for a reaction strike. Hookset is important. A lot of anglers get the bite but cannot hold the fish when reeling in due to impatience. They set the hook too quick. Realize this TRD is a small worm. The bass has to pick up the bait & run with it. Wait.
