I know I'm joining the conversation late, but good morning everyone! It's still morning here in sunny California. And it's going to be a good day because for me any day without Percocet is a good day.

Shots helped?

Actually the doc called and postponed that procedure. I'm having it done on the 25th. They're going to wipe out that nerve. So today the pain is tolerable, no need for meds. That's a good thing. I am paranoid about getting hooked on the opioids, so I only treat myself with one or two when it get unbearable. 25 years ago I had triple bypass and was introduced to Percocet and I became very fond of them. My neighbor at the time had very bad back, invited me over during my recovery and asked me did I want a Percocet or a glass of scotch. I said can't we have both? So that's how it is. I enjoy both in extreme moderation.

Burned. With RF somehow. Not sure how that works and I'm an electronics technician. Or was anyway.

Hey Denny. Actually I am sort of in recovery. A long time ago when the docs used to hand out valium like it was candy I got addicted to those. Withdrawal was not a pleasant experience and I never want to experience anything like that again. So I am very careful. Couple that with how good the percs make me feel, I am very very careful. So when I say they are an occasional treat, I really do mean it. How long have you been and how are you doing? Just say so if it's none of my business. Oh and it seems like I am always in pain, just today not quite as bad as it can be, so that's nice. OZ have you had that procedure? Did it help? Should I go thru with? Is it worth it? If you can, talk to me about it. Maybe on pm if you want?

At the pain management center.

Yes I had it and it helped have to get a new mri and see what else is going on.

A lady at church told me about it, they can grow back together, selfhealing body of ours.

Well glad to hear it helped. I am looking forward to something besides pain meds. I haven't been able to get an MRI because I have a steel stent in my coronary artery and they won't risk pulling it out of my chest with their magnet. Also because they can't confirm that my lenses from having cataract surgery won't be affected. You ever hear of such a thing? The golden years can kiss my ass indeed. My mother will be 98 next month and I'm a lot more like her physically than dear old (dead) dad. What have I got to look forward to? Better than the alternative - that's what I keep telling myself.

Yes sir. Doc twice went in there with an anesthetic to numb it just to see if it helped. The insurance company will not approve the procedure unless effectiveness can be shown. So it did help and now I'm scheduled to have this. Is this what you had?

Strap your legs down and put the block in while looking at a livestreaming exray.
