Any body here from NJ bass fishing skinny water? mostly cedar water dark tint. I go out several times a week and the fishing has fallen off, between the season changing and the rain and wind the bass just haven’t wanted what I’m throwing at them, a lot of the lakes I fish have really thick vegetation so running anything to deep your pulling up a bunch of weeds you can’t throw a jig cause of all the crap , they have been hitting small black frogs , a rapala shadow rap shad, swim bait hard and soft and of corse just about anything soft rubber and green pumpkin but it’s not a steady bite your lucky to catch 2 or 3 fish a day right now and just 2 weeks ago I put 10 in the kayak on a frog in 2 hours, so I’m hoping someone here fishes the same kind of lakes as I do in the same area or close anyway

hey justin im in south jersey mainly fishing bass most of the lakes im in are clear water though. not much luck this month, but im still trying.

Yeah I think it’s the weather, I changed my jerk bait rod over to fluorocarbon from braid hopefully it’ll help get hits and I just got my karaha frog tiny thing so tomorrow morning I’m going out b4 light thinking about the river in Millville mabe if I don’t get bass I’ll get a resident stripper or hybred idk but I’m definitely going out, where do you fish

I live in Pennsylvania but I used to fish Round Valley and Spruce Run reservoir's. I just
remember when the water cools off you usually have to fish deep and slow. Some nice

I think they are moving there but I am seeing them already my the edges in shallow water
