Thanks much, Wulffy ! The feeling is mutual, including PB, Oz, yourself and a few others of us 'greyhairs' (or are some of us 'silver foxes'?) !
Soon to be 3 year old grandaughter tells me mine is white.
I have already learned not to argue with her.
Don't know that I would qualify as foxy anymore. Silver yes definitely. I raised girls. They're responsible. I had 5 weeks of PMS every month.
Yeah, he was one of those 'others' I was referring to !
I got to move out of New York... I also would love to find fishing buddy. Age and sex does not matter, just someone who likes to and has the time to fish!

When you get where you're going I'll wager you find at least one.
Any idea/destination in mind ? Looking for a much warmer climate or just a milder one ?
Sorry John I would really enjoy catching some fish with you but I am of the opposite side of the U. S. of A.

John. Like to take you up, however, I just left the area. I was in Bellevue.

Gray hair? Fortunetly still got it up there but I've joined the white top club. Silver streak here and there but mine is as white as Randy's / Santas beard.

BB is always lurking. Probably looking up more cartoons and sayings. Mike
I'm certainly no longer a pup. When I was younger I dreaded the thought of turning 70. Like a lot of other things I was wrong about that to. I was lucky enough to retire earlier than most folks, under age 50. I was able to devote my time to my three passions, fishing, hunting & fishing. I've set around a lot of campfires drinking bad coffee & listening to good friends discuss life & going over how that monster buck got away or the 10 lb bass got off right at the boat. The times around those campfires, surrounded by good friends, are some of the best times of my life. Great memories are something we really never had in our youth. Growing old ain't so bad.

Two things to remember. A lot of us are in our seventies, and some of us are women. And we all like to fish.

Both my grandmother's were fishing machines as were my grandfathers. i've spent many a night on the creeks, lakes & ponds with both of them. Memories.
