Is, is that the Goldfish from that insurance commercial? I knew that had to be a fake Goldfish acting like a Goldfish. I wonder how they got all those gold coins in it? 🙄

Was that hooked up, or just a swim-by?

Pappy that looked more like drive by. If someone cut that Goldfish loose when it was small, it’s been a pretty luck Goldfish to get that big. IMHO.
Could it have been one them golden rainbows? Somebody on here posted a picture of one he'd caught a while back. Some sort of a mutant rainbow trout. Don't know if they have em in Arkansas.

That’s a gold fish 99.9% sure we have huge ones in local river. Pets released or believe it or not flushed alive!! grow as big as environment will allow didn’t look like a Koi....
I really dont know..First i thought it was a koi but the fins dont look right...Whatever it is it was chasing something..
Arent they in the carp family.? Oh and my boat didnt really seem to scare it at all..Wish i couldve gotten a better pic...If i ever see it again ill try to...
Being from Indiana and limestone country people used to throw goldfish in the blue holes and they would get up 12 to 18 inches long because of the mineral composition of the limestone from my understanding. At one time it was against the law to fish for them but that was years ago and the law may have changed by now. BTW, to clarify a blue hole, it is the hole left when the limestone blocks are removed and the water left in the hole is a bright blue color. Yes goldfish are a member of the carp family.
Correct carp family but different diet they have been caught here on rapala minnow lures as well as soft plastics!
That is a grass eating Carp like what we put in golf course lakes to eat the grass.
it was chasing shad or something...
