NJ fall stripers are in. My kayak is 32” wide for reference. 30-40 pound class fish inhaling whole bunker on the surface. Look for the birds diving. You can throw a donut in the water and they’d hit it. Tight lines everyone. P.S. all the fish I caught were released. Fish responsibly.

medium strength flavor - not as mild as flounder, not as strong as blue fish. Make an excellent compliment to turkey at Thanksgiving.

Island Beach State Park is excellent but I heard they haven’t gotten that far south yet. I was in the Sandy Hook area. Things can change from now until Saturday but from my experience and what I’ve heard they are still a little bit north of IBSP. Tight lines!
