Lifetime kayak and pflueger reels

Does the kayak have a peddle drive option?

I wish. It’s pretty basic but absolutely gets the job done

I second this thought!

The Boomerang line cutter. Nice and compact, retractable lanyard, and cuts braid, mono, and fluorocarbon with ease. They typically run ~$15 but they go on sale often at Amazon for less than $10.

Oh yea, I was actually about to get one, currently on sale (not much) for $8

Get the set with the longer blades, they're a huge help when doing arbor knots on smaller/narrower spools.

Yea, they are great. They do dull over time and stop cutting limp braid as cleanly, but they are still the best and most convenient cutters I have found.

I've noticed this happening with mine recently. I got mine a couple years back. I'll probably get another to replace the dull pair sometime soon. Still can't beat it either way.

I have found that if you use the back of the blades for fluorocarbon and monofilament and only use the tip for braid they stay razor sharp a lot longer.

I completely agree. They also have one with a light if you night fish.

The Kuying Teton line of finesse rods are insanely good for what they cost. The build quality and components are outstanding for the price.
