The fishing gets better on most rivers and lakes when the water is moving. It funnels the bait in to certain areas and the fish know it time for a meal. Always try to fish the current flow by throwing up the current and come back with the current flow in a natural manner.

Nice fish! Those fish have things in the river figured out and they make it look easy! Lie behind a rock or some cover of some kind, facing the current coming at them and grab what they want. The bass around my woods even follow the carp and grab up the crawdads they loosen up
