The second largest catfish I caught was in a California canal, 17lb channel cat. It was 40 years ago though.

Sweet and I think the biggest I've caught thus far was around 10lbs or so! Tight lines

I purchased molds for the sinkers I used at the local flee market, and poured my own up until my sister kinda stole them while I was on an instate job for two weeks, it's not hard, nor is it to expensive to get started. Happy fishing.

I don't really have the fishing gear I want or even need at this point in life, or I would pour my own sinkers. I finally bought a lead pot just for sinkers at auction the other day I always used a gas portable camp stove in the past.
