Caught 1st one in 8th st jetty in Avalon
I became aware of them , researched them , watched the videos( youtube fishing videos = extraordinary) and went out targeting them and viola!! Course my gf always follows with the biggest, !!

Did you know that trigger fish has one of the most succulent flesh around? Most people are turned off by this fish because it is ugly and very difficult to clean. When you take that first bite, you WILL BE SOLD!!
Start by chopping off the head and stomach. Next, insert the sharp point of a knife under the amor-like skin starting from the tail, and cut upward and outward. Do both sides. Grab the skin from the back of the head with a pair of pliers, and it will peel off easily. Then filet the flesh.

Ha, also, the two together were caught solely by me the next day. The day she caught the doormat I caught two others smaller than hers by far.

Hey Raw, never heard of fish Tacos until recently at a local crab house. Crab cakes with old bay seasoning is #1 and those Tacos are a strong #2.
