I'm 32 and just starting fishing a couple weeks ago.
I didn't realize something so small could bring me so much joy. This is the biggest one of the three I caught today. (Yakima River, WA)

Can relate! Turned 30 this year and just started fishing. Then I went and picked up some fly gear last week. Super excited to try it out.

Rad! Seems like a great time to start. I took a two part Fly Fishing 101 class at my local fly shop but was a little unsure how to proceed after – seeing as I don't have many other friends that fish. I just said screw it bought the gear I needed and started going. So far it's been great! Planning to take a guided course on the river next spring. Glad I didn't go nuts on the gear cause stuff is already getting some wear and tear. Best of luck and I hope you get out there soon!

That is pretty much me. I am 29 now, soon to be 30 and just got into fly fishing. I love it so much; between actually fishing, learning so many new things, and just being outside in the water...just can't beat it.

Nice. Lots of great fishing in Washington and the PNW.

If you ever make it over to the peninsula there is a great little place west of Port Angeles called Poohs pond that you can catch some nice trout. It’s actually 2 ponds Catch and release only. The farmer keeps it stocked all year. The bald eagles don’t understand catch and release. Lol. If you make it this way PM me and I’ll show you how to get there.

Fished the Yakima river for many many years. There is a lot of good fishing in that area. Naches ,American , and Little Naches are also good. As well as the lakes.
