I have been reading a lot of posts about topics that i enjoy and finally decided to join the fun. I fish salt water only these days but have fished plenty of fresh water in Washington and British Columbia Canada. I have been in the marine business for 34 years and enjoy it very much.

Thank you, Dakota, looks like you are just across the hill from me. I frequent your town often. Whenever i am passing through i have to stop at Owens Meat Market for Beef Jerky and pepperoni by the yard.

Thank you, Jeep 1980,
Those are great looking Kokanee. My wife delivers bait all over your area to the local ma and pa stores and i have always wanted to try Samish. BTW the water looks very rough, don't know if i could handle that. HAHA. We have all had those days of net problems.

Welcome BigDave. And jeep 1980, thanks for the fishing report. It sounds like I need to get down that way.

Nice fish especially dealing with the strong winds blowing you all over

I’m with you I’m getting the tuna flip down but need practice netting
It’s when doubles hit I’m lost
Merwin/yale reservoirs 2 pole endowment

lol
Only one net for me might try like years ago on the North Jetty Long Beach WA when hubby and I both had a salmon on I’d net both while he had the rods
Unfortunately he doesn’t go with me in the boat anymore and frequently go alone
Hard to find folks to go during the week
I smoke my Kokanee yummy to the tummy

Going to try for some surf perch next week

Tight Lines!
