Hello Charlieatal,
Welcome newcomer from a newcomer. Weiss lake where I live is known as the Crappie capital of the world. Some have been caught in the 4 to 4.5 lb size. Most are in the 1 to1.5 lb range. Lots of Largemouth, Hybrids, Catfish and Bream too. That said I would bet that the Delta grows lots of big Crappie & other fish too. Tight lines to you, Roughneck

This fish measured 18 and half inches long and it had a 17 inch girth. The man responsible for the catch is named George Ward and he’s from Garland Texas. He caught the crappie when fishing at Lake Fork.
