Madison, AL. Tennessee River near Redstone Arsenal Blue Catfish Galore!

Spent the day on the Tennessee River. Another beautiful day in the 70’s and calm winds and water. Caught two Blue Catfish along the northern shore nearby Redstone Arsenal. The first one was 42 lbs. the second was 19 lbs. Both were pregnant full of eggs. Sent them back to spawn. My partner caught a 22 lb. Blue and a 18 lb. Flathead. Great day!

I am heading up to Goatrock here in Lee County today. I might end up catching some bream for cut bait and do a little catfishing in the Bartletts Ferry dam tailrace too, if the bass don't bite. I will post pictures if I catch anything worthy of posting here.
