After 2 days of high winds to 65 mph we got out on the lake (fort peck mt) today. It took some surching but we got into some Lakers again. 10 to 16 ft and 9 to 14lbs. Trolling cranks and plainer boards, it was a blast to watch the planer boards dissappear when a laker latched on.

Great fishing and pictures. 65mph wind is not fun even while on land.
Thanks for sharing.

Wow, those are some nice ones.
What's the water temp there? We never get Lakers that shallow in Tahoe except in the winter.
The high mountain lakes will produce them right after ice out that shallow though.

Great catch. I am jealous. Lakers seem to avoid me. I can count all the lakers I have caught in my life on my nine fingers. I have put in my time, but I am still a bozzo when it comes to that fish. Once again, great job.

Oh, no wonder. I don't think the ice is off at some of the lakes above Tahoe yet. I'll see next week.

Beautiful! Is this your secret spot or can you tell us what lake this is?
