prefer flies or lures, but pinched nerve in my shoulder will dictate my efforts . . .
do you have any favorite spots??? in the past i have used a float tube, but will probably fish from shore this time . ..

I’ve had success fishing spoons, retrieve slow, look for rising fish. Often can see them from the dock or the picnic bench at the point from parking lot

Baum is the bomb…had to say it! My go to is a gold Panther Martin or if using bait salmon egg or green glitter power bait. Fish the incoming water near the shack, its west of the picnic area. Also try Powerhouse #1 and upstream/downstream of the town of Cassel at the Post Office on Hat Creek. All pics are at Baum or Hat Creek.

Btw, caught 121 trout over a weekend while up at Burney last year
