Good morning folks! It feels like Monday after being away for a few days. Regardless.. its time for this guy to get busy!

It's Lost Dog Appreciation day.. How can I appreciate a lost dog if I don't have a dog to appreciate? And, wouldn't it be easier to appreciate a dog if it wasn't lost?? I think I'll just eat a Milk Bone and call it a day.. Woof!

My phone says it's only 37Β° but the thermometer says 45Β° (difference from top of the hill and the valley). Looking for a high of 66Β° and sunshine with rain moving back in tonight.

Starting a furnace and AC swap this morning. This will be an interesting one since it's all built into a closet. Yuck!

*****

We Can Go Home Now:

Two elderly sisters donated $5 to a charity and, to their surprise, won tickets to a football game. Since they had never seen a live football game before, Madge thought the free tickets would provide an excellent opportunity for doing so.

"I think so, too," said Mabel. "Let's go!"

They soon found themselves high in a noisy stadium overlooking a large, grassy expanse. They watched the kickoff and the seemingly endless back-and-forth struggles that comprised the scoreless first half.

They enjoyed the band music and cheerleader performance that followed. Then came the second half. When the teams lined up for the second-half kickoff, Madge nudged her sister.

"I guess we can go home now, Mabel," she said. "This is where we came in."

Good morning Doug, Slim and all stagers to follow. 33* now but supposed to shape up to be a pretty nice one today, 67 for a high with rain moving in later this evening. Think I’ll get to mulching the landscaping and then hit the water later this afternoon. Hope everyone has a great day!

Good morning Doug, Terry, Brad, Al and the crew yet to rise. No frost here and headed for a tease in the low 70's. Good day for piddling around the house and take in a beautiful spring day.

My mulching can wait until tomorrow, I'm on the lake and staying here even if I can't find any fish. .
