I love it all! But my main reason for joining the forum is to learn all I can about a upcoming trip to the st. Johns river (Dunns Creek area). I live in southern Ga. So I have zero contacts on where to start. I'll be targeting bluegill. I have always heard the stories of loading the boat and I want to do it before I am to old to travel that far for a brim. Lol.

JV, Start a new post and ask for help for the place you are going to be fishing at. That would be the best way to get info from that area. Wish I could help you bur I,ve never fished there. Good luck and let us know how you do on your trip.

Welcome JV, you just joined best fishing site out there (just my opinion) about Dunn Creek you can put in off of highway 17, nice boat ramp and plenty of parking area it's about 5 miles to St Johns River and one mile to crescent Lake which I've heard is really good fishing I live down Central Florida way can't give you much information for that part of the state 🎣 wish you the best of luck and we do like pictures of your catch 🙏
