As soon as the Wifey wakes up, we'll start loading up to leave for Erie for a few days. Woo-hoo! Nothing better than a little time off. I'll do some fishing, take the Wifey to a dinner show, and who knows what else we'll get into..

It's 48° now and 60° later with showers. Luckily the showers look like they'll stay in our rear view mirror today.

Morning all. Sorry to share bad news but my favorite neighbor, friend and Dad figure has passed away. He and his wife have been there for me 22 yrs. Almost all the projects done in my house he helped or oversaw me do. Taught me many things. God loving, family loving and all of us on our dead end street loved him dearly. 93 yrs old but a big strapping man until a couple months ago. Hard to imagine him not sitting on the porch across the street. Sad.

Sorry to hear of your neighbor's loss Kandy. Just keep that fond memory of him sitting on the porch and he will always be with you.
