Fellow fishermen (and gals), I do most of my fishing down in Baja, from my kayak....some seriously good fishing down there in the lagoons....bass, halibut, corbina, corvina, and grouper. My favorite spot is Punta Abreojos...safe, friendly, good times.
I'm off in the morning to try Lake Isabella. Plan to camp and fish a few days or longer if the fishing is good. Will take some photos.

Iām here in SLO and spend spring and late summers along the Kern River. Upper and lower should be good until the water gets too fast with the runoff. Check the Kern River fly shop for current info on the lake. They also have a broadcast weekly on youtube. Fort Myers SWFL is another great fishing hole!
