It's also National Crawfish day. I've never had crawfish.. I've had Lobster, crab, spiny lobster, but never crawfish..
Someone tell me what the flavor is close to.

54° now and 70° later with an 80% chance of.. yep.. more rain...
Locally, the streams are still high and running fast. The ground is totally saturated, so what ever we get just becomes runoff and starts flooding.

I'm finishing the cooler unit install this morning. I just need to take a few things that I was missing yesterday and finish the wiring. I'll give it a test run and that'll be it. I have to be home by noon today to take the Wifey to a Dr Appt.

Five year old Slim's parents bought him some new shoes. It had been raining so they told Slim, "You can't walk in mud puddles with your new shoes."

Slim went outside as his parents watched from the window. The first thing Slim did was go to the nearest mud puddle and began to stomp his feet in the muddy water.

With the biggest smile on his face Slim ran back into the house and announced his shoes work just fine in mud puddles. 😳🙃😊

Morning all. Sounds like a recap of a Calvin cartoon, Doug, lol. LIttle rascal!
Sun is up but some clouds moving in. Neighbors dragged a metal container in their driveway for debris from the house they're ripping apart. It's literally 3ft from my living room and kitchen windows. Was out most of the day and will be out all morning at tennis today to escape the lovely sounds. They are very nice people but I sure hope they fill that thing soon and take it away.
Pretty much back to normal healthwise, thank goodness!!!

I had crayfish ettoufe' once a while back. Not bad, but I'd pick crab first. And of course, I'm sure there's more than one recipe.

Sitting in the boat oTiently waiting for the several hundred marks I saw on the screen to get hungry. If they're all our target fish and they turn on we're going to be very tired very fast.
