Went ultralight jigging in 66 degrees muddy, flooded Carnegie Lake this evening on the hottest day of this year. Caught and released 5 bluegills, 3 white perch, 2 yellow perch, 2 largemouth bass, a black crappie, a golden shiner, a pumpkinseed sunfish and a red breasted sunfish with a 1/32 oz twister tail jig on 2 lb test line. Didn’t see the 16 other fishermen catch a fish 🐠.
Congrats again bands on your catches, especially when you don't see others catching. I'm sure you felt bad for the other fishermen but you must have been doing something right. It took the two of us to get 6 small fish yesterday (Monday) but hope to get back to catching some decent walleye when we get back to the home waters later this week.
Until then, fish on!!
